Ethical Aspects of Digital Reconstruction of the Historical Cultural Heritage

Digital reconstruction of historical artefacts supports cultural heritage preservation, providing new insights beyond digitization. This study addresses ethical challenges of authenticity and interpretation when digitally restoring missing parts, analysing technical processes. Using concrete examples, it explores the interplay between ethical standards and technology in digitization and access to cultural heritage.References
